COGLAS GmbH will be presenting its latest web-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) at LogiMAT 2020. The COGLAS WEB WMS can be installed locally on customer servers or in the COGLAS Cloud.

For COGLAS, the ongoing development of logistics software is a top priority. The focus is on the continuous optimisation of existing processes, such as order picking. Furthermore, COGLAS is exploring new processes that meet the ever-growing and changing demands of the market, thereby making work easier. When developing software, COGLAS always prioritises ‘self-explanatory processes’.

WMS features

Flexible, customisable standard processes and workflows that you actually need.

One of the new features is the partner portal within WEB WMS, which enables external users – such as customers of the COGLAS WEB WMS operator – to access the logistics software. External users, such as suppliers, can only view their own company’s data, not that of others. Via the portal, they can view account information, relevant orders and their processing status online at any time, thereby maintaining an overview of, for example, stock levels. An effective way to stand out from the competition.

Further new functions are offered by the Event Centre, which enables an action to be triggered by a selected trigger. In this way, for example, a warehouse operator can be notified via email or within the system as soon as their stock in a defined zone or the stock of a particular item falls below a certain quantity. Furthermore, workflows can be automated or routine tasks completed automatically. In addition, COGLAS is continuously adding further links and actions that users can configure individually.

In addition, the COGLAS WEB WMS is designed for optimised single-order or multi-pick order picking. Other key features of the software include KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), which enable the performance of business activities and forecasts to be measured.

Also new in COGLAS WEB WMS is a tugger train control system, which enables production lines to be supplied at regular intervals and/or at specific delivery times.

Those interested can find out more during LogiMAT 2020, at Messe Stuttgart, from 10 to 12 March at the COGLAS stand C30 in Hall 8. In addition, COGLAS will be giving a presentation on ‘Digitising logistics with the COGLAS WEB WMS’ on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, in Hall 8, Forum D (Innovation Forum).
